Q. I have a 1989 non mint fg penny .... Some people tell me that it's worth something some people say it's not so how do I go about finding out if the one I have worth something it's in very very good condition?

All coins come from a mint. If no mint mark, then it's Philadelphia. I wish all the people who tell others their coins are valuable would put up their own money and buy therm. I know of no 1989 cents that are more than face value!

Q. I have an un- heard of coin error ,it is a 1986 d Lincoln cent struck on a nickel planchet it's as round as q pwnny but as thick as a nl

How do you know it's a nickel planchet? Does it weigh 5 grams and have silver color? If so send pictures through hvcoins.com. Thank you.

Q. I was wondering about the 2000 cheerios coin I found one I'm not sure if there's any value to a coin like this perhaps you can advise me if it something I should look into thank you

What evidence do you have it came from a Cheerios box rather than being one of the many regular ones from that year? (If it really did we should talk.) Marc (best to call or email through hvcoins.com!)

Q. hello, i have a complete set of uncirculated p & d rolls of america the beautifil park quarters from 2010 to 2021 smokey the bear set. do you deal with modern sets or just antique coins

I deal with moderns, but the value of these is so close to face value that you're going to find it hard to find a buyer at more than that.

Q. We found an old beater bond from the Walt 1900’s. Do you deal with these type of things to tell us if it is worth anything or just a piece to talk about. If you don’t do you know who we would go to? Please advise. Thank you

Liz, send me a photo to 914-649-3317 or hudsoncoins@aol.com. I do handle such things and will determine what I can. Marc

Q. My father has a large stamp collection....do you assess stamps as well

I do but they are not usually worth much. Call me at 649-3317 to discuss (area code 914). We can help you value them and sell if warranted. Marc

Q. I would like someone to email me so I can get an appraisal on a wheat penny no mint mark or date. Seems like some type of error when struck date and mint mark unclear. My email is rosemarie.anna.baker@gmail.com thank you

In the absence of a photo we assume it's merely damaged beyond recognition.

Q. I have sent in pictures of some coin I have to get information about them and also get a price to how much they are worth if anything but no response whatsoever.

All we saw were some medals. We said they are worth their weight in silver if silver, and not much if not.

Q. How long does it take for a response

Not long. The main thing that slows me down is questions like this. I was going to do it this weekend but I just went and answered yours right now. So you should have a response already.

Q. How long does it take for a response

I believe we answered three questions about the same nickel. Did you get a response?
