Q. My mother recently passed away and we found a bag of old foreign coins. All of these have obviously been in circulation. Are these of any interest to you?

Q. Hi, I was going through some stuff in my house, & I found some Liberty dimes. They have Indian Heads on the front. I have about 10 or 12 of them. How do I find out if these coins have any value? Also, I have some half dollars & a few other coins, that I took to a coin show in Tarrytown about a year & a half ago. The gentleman who looked at the coins said that most were just worth about the face value of the coin. However, he put one half dollar & one of the other coins into a small plastic bag, & told me not to spend them. He didn't say how much they may be worth, but since he specifically told me not to spend those 2 coins, I figure they must be worth something. I would like to know the value of those coins as well. How can I find that out?

No dimes have indian heads on them; you're getting your types mixed up. Chances are they are worth about a dollar each. I might have been that gentleman; if you want to know the value all you have to do is show them to us, or show us photos. You can do that here or come see me. Let's not make it more complicated that it is; give a call or give your number and I'll tell you what you have! Thanks, Marc
