This Eisenhower Dollar 1971-D is not silver. There is a lot of confusion about the Eisenhower dollar or Ike. All 40% silver Eisenhower dollars were minted in San Francisco and have an S mint mark, but not all S mint mark Ikes are silver. Silver Ikes are typically only found in special government sets unless someone broke them out. Your coin is worth $1.
