I can't appraise without seeing or a photo. Most people who submit "die break" varieties are actually misinterpreting scratches. A die break should be a RAISED line on a coin, as the metal filled the die break upon striking. If you actually have one, don't prepare for retirement, they are common and in circulated grades might bring your coin slightly higher than face value. Oh, and one more thing: You didn't specify a denomination. Cent? Nickel? Dime? Half Dollar? We pay attention to these little details.
