It's worth a dollar. If your son is interested in coins he should read the blogs on our website. I think he would enjoy a coin show, we do the Garden State Coin show first Sunday of every month in Parsippany, NJ. Also he can get a student membership to A.N.A., and he should buy a copy of the "Red Book." If he gets one from a year or two ago it will be cheap, and he can look up the value of any U.S. coin. We treat all circulated coins after 1970 as face value.
