Online Appraisal

Send a photo of your item or collection for a free online appraisal. You may even decide to sell us your coin or other item when you find out what it is and what it's worth!

Submit An Item For Free Appraisal

[We kindly ask you to limit your request to ONE item, preferably with images of both sides. We specialize in items that are older and of some historic importance. Please include photos of both sides if possible. If you think you have an ERROR coin, we ask you to read through our existing postings first, to help rule out what may just be heavy wear or damage. Asking prices on eBay and Etsy do NOT mean every modern quarter that went under the lawnmower is worth six figures!]

We may use your appraisal on our site as reference for others with the same item(s). We'll never display your personal information and will remove all sensitive information from your submission. Please contact us for a private appraisal. View our privacy policy.

D. Half dollar

Half dollars are copper nickel from 1971 forward. Consequently, face value.

D. 1943 S steel penny

They made hundreds of millions. What's cool: you can pick it up with a magnet. They did this to save copper for the war effort. It's just an interesting cent maybe worth a quarter.

D. 2008 14 kt

Perhaps you want to submit it with a better photograph I can't see what it is. Chances are you have a jewelry piece with a setting that is 14 karat, but a coin that is more like 22 karat. As a jewelry piece it's probably been damaged but still worth a lot because it's gold.

D. Buffalo nickel with strike through body

unclear photo doubtless not worth a lot

D. 1971 Lincoln quarter with error

I'll say. When did Lincoln ever appear on a quarter?

D. Found this in my change from McDonalds don’t know if it’s real or not but it’s engraved perfect

Very cool, there's an art form called hobo nickels. Do a web search and you'll see what I mean. Somebody did it, not the US mint. They probably spent it by mistake.
